Guest guest
Hey everyone, I haven't posted in awhile, but I've been keeping up with everyone's progress and questions. I've been so out of whack in the last month. I started doing Tae Bo this past summer (Capture the Power and Ultimate upper and lower body), I've since added Flex, Ultimate abs and glutes and I've just purchased the Live Series, I lost just over 20lbs in two months I still have about 30 more lbs I want to lose, but with a full load of classes (senior year, thank God) and work, its just been hard to find the same motivation I had during the summer. I think maybe I just hit a wall with the same tapes over and over and maybe the new live series will add some new and much needed spice. I also think that with the weather cooling I'm relying on the fact that for the next couple of months I'll be covered up with sweaters and jeans, BUT tomorrow is a new day and I hope to have a new attitude, if anyone can lend a helping word it would be nice, God Bless everybody and keep up the good work. Guest guest
Kitta - Like you, I work full time and am a senior (finishing in April, woo- hoo). Like you, I have lost wieght (74 pounds), but I still have about 30 to go. I got certified as a Tae Bo® instructor in July, and I have only taught like 4 classes since then. I have been driving 45-60 minutes into Philly (I live in the burbs)to take live classes every day but Sunday (for the past 4-5 months), and that really has helped keep me motivated! Live classes will definitely encourage you to keep going! If you every need a change and you live near a facility that offers them, treat yourself (even if you just pay for one class at a time). Anywhoo, this past week, I got stuck in a traffic jam (they closed the road) Monday evening and I was in my car from 5:15 to 10:00 (note: 5 minutes from my house I got into a car accident - very minor, no injuries, just aggravating), and I basically gave up. I needed a break from the traffic, so the rest of the week, I ran errands and did homework after work and did my Tae-Bo videos at home like I had done for the year and a half prior to the Live classes. Monday evening, I will be going back to the live classes. My point to all of this is that sometimes you just need to take a break from your current regimen and mix it up for a week or two. If you are bored with your videos, find something else - either a different video or a live class. Trust me, your videos will be there waiting and you will want to come back to them from time to time. The most important thing to remember is NOT TO GIVE UP. Take a break if you have to, like I said, but make sure you stay active. As far as the lumpy sweaters, they should motivate you to look LESS lumpy! Especially because once the spring comes, you want to show off the super body you have been hiding under them all winter! Good luck and God Bless. > > Hey everyone, > I haven't posted in awhile, but I've been keeping up with > everyone's progress and questions. I've been so out of whack in the > last month. Guest guest
Thanks so much for taking the time to respond, I appreciate it so, so much. I'm in the process of getting back on track and I'm thinking that the goal setting is a great idea and I also think that if I reward myself, that could be a great motivation for me also. Thanks for the advice and I'll be in touch. Kitta
