I found Caitlyn's vibrating Barney toothbrush through the Sears catalogue.

I believe they also had Elmo, they were all about $12.00 plus s/h.

Trish--to get Caitlyn to start talking we used a lot of signs, verbal cues

and most importantly, we worked hard to get her to mimic sounds instead of

words. Such as fake sneezing, coughing, and " making like an Indian " (my

apologies but it worked). We also worked at imitating animal sounds like

moo and baa. This didn't come easily but this is where she got her start.

There is a Dr Seuss book called " Mr Brown can Moo, can you " that has a lot

of sounds that Caitlyn just loved.
