Guest guest
know that the Super Low carb diets are really popular and I have lost 10 lbs on them but then will plateau and only to gain the weight back immediately if I eat anything normal. My question is this...I have seen the infomercials on Thurmans 6 week body makeover and read a little about body types etc and each of us are made differently. WHile some can eat this or that and loose weight and others need to eat something else. What do you all think about this? It all made alot of sense to me. I also try the Low carb way of eating and experience loss then plateaus. I just keep yo-yo ing off low carb. My friend Did the 6 week makeover and lost close to 50 pounds, so I personally am going to look into it for more info.
Guest guest
I have been doing well getting started back to doing Taebo on a regular basis. These last 7 days or so I did it 4X. Still having a little trouble keeping the advanced pace but just continue to do it at a pace that I can keep up with and kick it up when I can. I have a friend from church who has had trouble losing weight like me even with exercise. She started this program last week and lost 5 lbs the first week. She runs 4-6X a week training for the Honolulu Marathon and still was having trouble losing weight, but not since she changed to eating for her body type. She said she was eating all the wrong things and combinations. I love my taebo and will always continue to do it. There is just something about it that makes me feel good!! Guest guest
Great to hear someone else has done well with that program too. Keep me posted. I went ahead and ordered the program so I will keep you all posted as well. Time to Taebo since I was lazy this morning.

Hi all! I've been doing South Beach which isn't low carb as many believe. You eat good carbs and good fats and I absolutely love it! It's simple to do (easier if you cook) and has definitely shown results. The food is all really good and sometimes doesn't even feel like I'm dieting. You have to give up fruit during the first 2 weeks but then you add it back in as well as whole wheat bread, whole wheat pasta and more. I love the fact that you can have milk on the diet (which I love for dinner). If you get the book, the diet has been slightly modified since then to include milk, yogurt and tomato on Phase 1. A combo of South Beach and Tae Bo is a winner for me! Christa
