I used to put jig saw puzzles together all the time. I started it when Don

had open heart surgery

and needed a lot of rest. He would sleep in his recliner and every once in a

while he would look in the dining room, straight across from him, and look

at me, then go back to sleep. I became very fast at it, and now I am ashamed

of how slow I was on that puzzle of the day. 33 minutes it said, and the

average is 7 minutes. It was fun, but sure didn't do much for my ego. (grin)

I still have a huge box of puzzles in my closet. Every once in a while I'll

pull one out, and relax beside Don. I have a white chalk board that I can lay

across my recliner chair, and the board holds a thousand piece puzzle. Nice

way to relax. I do it while half watching the TV.

Lots of relaxing fun. I don't ever do things like paint anymore. That gets

to be work. Avoiding work is a top priority. (big happy grin)

Love a bunch all you wonderful loving caregivers,

Imogene
