Flare up yet again, Prevention??

Hi all,Once again I'm struggling with a flare up My GP said that it is a chest infection but due to the amount of antibiotics I have had he isn't prescribing any more for me he said he knows it sounds me and horrible like he said he isn't trying to be mean but my body is now at the stage I am so use to being on Antibiotics I am almost on them for sinus infections every other week which he said is not a good thing although they help a little, He prescribed me a week of prednisolone 5 mg and said that there is little he can do My peak flow last week was great 550 I got which is the highest I have ever got but I am now struggling to get 150, he has reassuringly said that should I feel that I am unable to cope then the emergency services would have to be called and they would be equipped to help me.Is there anyway I could help prevent the flare up from becoming worst?Regards
