Hello Lynn,

Sometimes when it rains it pours and everything comes down on you at once.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. I know things seem down for you right now,

but they will pick up. You are doing the best thing staying home and taking care

of yourself, so you don't wear yourself down and spiral into a worse sickness.

You need to take care of yourself. You have a lot on your plate right now and

that can drag you down too. I turn 60 one month after you. I wish I could turn

back the clock, but I said that at 50 too and it turned out to be a good decade.

You were almost a Christmas baby. I have a daughter who was born on Christmas

Day. I asked for a doll and got a real one. Hahaha

Take care of yourself Lynn......................Jan

Hi All,

For those of you who know me, I have my two sons, one who is married with two

wonderful kids. They all live in New Hamshire. I had plans to go see them next

week, but I canceled my trip because I haven't been well. I am on amoxocillin

for strep and sinus trouble. I have a little fever but afraid to go out of town

now. Last year I ended up in the hospital for 6 days with double pnemonia. It

took my body over 9 months to recoop. I have diabetes, asthma, and some minor

stuff as well. I am sooooooooooooooo afraid of being that sick again. But, I

miss our kids, especially my grandkids. So, all this to say that I am depressed.

I know I made the right choice but it is still hard. We can't move there till

mom goes. And HE isn't giving me any hints. Please those who pray, please pray

for us.My husband is having shoulder surgery on Dec.14th. And I turn the big 60

on the 20th. Yes, it bums me out a little.I just hope and pray, I don't get what

mom has. I would rather die early than

to live like mom is. Forgive me for rambling.I am tired and need to go to bed.

I'll feel better tomorrow. Thanks for letting me vent. It helps!!

god Bless,

Lynn S.

Lynn,

Sounds like you really need some rest. Try to rest and take care of

Lynn as much as possible. Turn on favorite music, pamper yourself

with a good bath or scented candles, favorite perfume, comfy night

gown, whatever it takes to help you rest and feel refreshed.

Maybe you can have your kids send pictures via e-mail more, call

more, whatever helps.

I know what you mean about having to put things on hold. When my

husband and I got married 6 years ago, we planned to take a

honeymoon trip to Europe that summer. Since then we have had both

of his parents to die, his ex-wife suddenly died of cancer, leaving

us to care for his adult daughter who has multiple personality

disorders and her child, and my mom got so bad with LBD that I had

to bring her down her from Indiana to care for her. We feel drained

emotionally, physically, financially, . . . . Hang on. And try to

do little things for yourself and your husband. Special quiet

dinners at home, early bedtime, a Saturday with nothing on the

agenda, whatever. That can help you deal with better times being a

long time coming.

Take care,

G
