Guest guest Posted June 16, 2010 Report Share Posted June 16, 2010 Hi everyone, I am now almost 6 weeks after detether for Lipomyelomeningocele. Just wondering if anyone else had swelling and pain in their knees post operative. The swelling is right around the knee front and back as well as just below. The bones in my leg are sore to touch; I also had the pain in the bones prior to the operation. My NS says nerves don't cause pain or swelling and he thinks there may be a problem with my bones. Obviously, he wants me to recover from operation first before doing anything else. Any feedback on this would be appreciated.
