Guest guest
Dad is really sleepy during the day--that was one reason that we wanted to try Provigil. I'd like him to have the best quality of life for as long as possible. He does have hallucinations all the time now, so I don't think we'd want to give him anything to make those worse. And then there's the expense--my dad's meds run about $1000/month already when they have to pay the 100% in the donut hole. Thanks so much for the input. She really wasn't sleepy in the day anymore when it was started, but we had some hope it would ease the hallucinations (which it did not). It seems to be most appropriate if your LO is excessively sleepy in the daytime, and is another one of the trial and error type options. PS It is really expensive, too.
