I'm all for sharing experiences and resources. But i'm afraid I'm not so open to reading things being stated as "the only way to fix it". I fear that is simply too dangerous. Maybe this forum just isn;t for me. I wish you all well. Subject: Re: breast cancer / iodineTo: Thyroiditis Date: Sunday, February 13, 2011, 12:36 PMHi Sandy - I appreciate your concern, but this board is all about sharing experience and resources - first-hand experience is always best but sharing stories about

others' success is welcome too. Everyone reading is always advised to consult their healthcare professional (and as many sources as they like) in choosing their treatment. There are many people who choose to treat their cancer through alternative options, or not at all. So just as I don't discourage your point of view on breast cancer treatment (please feel free to share your own experience), I ask that folks not discourage others' either. She says she wasn't surgery or radiation-deficient. She has an iodine-deficiency disorder and the only way to fix it to supplement with iodine, not to go under the knife and be nuked. She is a real hero, I can

only hope I will be as sreadfast and brave as she is if something like this ever happens to me. > > HTH,> ~Bj>------------------------------------*Note: Information is freely exchanged on this board based on patient experiences, and should not be considered a medical recommendation.
