What is wrong with these drs-long

Hi

I sent my scans over to spain and shock of shocks I have Chiari!.Dr

Royo wrote back saying the herniation is 2mm but with the TC and all

of the rest of the stuff I am a definite candidate for the surgery.I

just wish my husband would help me get there.They have told me here

that there was no Chiari just the TC and that doesnt cause upper body

stuff.Like hell!!I am angry because I have been telling them for so

damm long over 10 years about my arm stuff,shoulders,seizures,head

pressure,vision,bladder, weakness etc etc.

I only found out about TC 2 years ago and that is what lead me to this

site and I could not believe how many of the chiari symptoms I had.Yet

everytime I mentioned it was shot down in flames.Even another expert

over here that a lot of us have been to and is supposed to be an

expert in this condition didnt pick it up.Just said come back when

your leg pain is bad enough.Probably thought the herniation was of no

consequence despite having the symptoms.

Why do we constantly have to try and justify our symptoms or get

treated like we are attention seeking of a hyperchondriac.We just want

to get BETTER!None of us chose to have this and just wish that these

drs would have some faith in there patients ability to research and

listen to what they are saying and not " stay off the net it will give

you too many ideas " .That may be the case in some peoples lives but

certainly not mine!!

I know if I hadnt done my own research and found the support of you

guys and some other groups would have given up hope and probably

living a long time ago.
