Guest guest
Hi Sandy, Sorry to hear you’re unwell, with your op coming up so soon, god how do you feel after so many? When I did have a couple of spells 05, and 06, I found it odd, I just can’t get used to - it isn’t fear of the unknown, it’s knowing too well! I picked up a book called “Dr I feel funny” (foreword by Patch ) written by husband and wife GPs, with great suggestions. Despite my multiple visits, it never occurred to me to prepare... (esp if have time to do so) : with book-readings, meditation/inspirational tapes (CD/ MP3/iPod) and music. W headphones can use while on nebulisers, at night when ward disturbance stops you from sleeping, & don’t want to disturb others by having a light on...while waiting endlessly for FEVs, x-rays, scans, etc etc... Can you keep in touch w us while you’re in hospital? I’ve got your home phone, but the mobile # was missing a couple of digits, pls feel free to resend. What are the dates of your hospital admission? We will be thinking of you...and willing peacefulness while you have to undergo such a hard and trying time... joy
