Guest guest
Hi - Sent up extra prayers for you and your mom and shall now send up praises. Wonderful news that all went well. I shall keep both of you in my prayers, always- Sandie Des Moines, IA dad, Merle, passed away from LBD 9-20-02, age 65 mum, Jo, passed away from LBD 4-29-07, age 78 -- Re: My mom has surgery this morning Great surgeon, anesthesiologist, and staff. They were so interested in LBD and what my mom should and shouldn't have as far as anesthesia and such. It was wonderful. Thanks again to all of you who pointed me in the right direction. She was wheeled into the operating room at 7:30, and by 11 we were all home, and she was sleeping soundly. She is intermittently confused, but that is situation normal. So far, she is on 3 of the 4 pain meds she was on before the surgery, and she reports little or no pain. Before the surgery, she was in terrible pain even with the pain meds. After a few days if she still feels no pain, we'll start weaning her off the pain meds and see what she feels.
