Precious Raquel, what a terrible thing to go through. All the pent up nerves

and then the doctor says no. You survived and will survive Thursday, and we

will all be right here pulling for you. I hear you about Medicaid. It is very

difficult to get blood out of a turnip. And believe me they are a bunch of

turnips. Well, I shouldn't say that. They are just doing what the Gov. tells

them to do.

Darling you will be fine, and be so much better off for it.

I had a big incision in the gall bladder area, and a big one from sternum to

belly button. Two surgeries in one. Hiatal Hernia and gall bladder, all the

old fashioned way. I survived, and dear you will be in good shape.

So glad to hear from you.

Love a lot, it makes things go easier,

Imogene

Thank you, friends, for the good wishes -please keep them up until Thursday:

I got to the hospital at 5:30 AM, went through all the paper work, put on a

gown, had blood drawn and waited patiently until 7:00 just to have the doctor

come and tell me that the surgery had to be posponed because my blood was

too thin. So on Thursday I have to do it all over again.

On the other hand, I spent the whole afternoon filling out papers for

Medicaid and getting the things they demand in order to receive it. They insist

in

that Sherman " was not admitted " to the hospital, that he was there for

observation only (4 days) and that they cannot bill Medicare for it. I feel I'm

fighting a loosing battle.

Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers, as I do with all of you -I know

everyone of you also has his/her own sack of rocks to carry.

Love,

Raquel
