Guest guest
If you do you would know the pain but I was just wondering if it was a purely unrelated thing. I never had them until I had major surgery in Dec. 2007 and not even a few days later they started and have progressively gotten worse. I mean in about a year and a half time frame they have gone from lasting about 20-30 seconds to over an hour. They used to be sporadic an not very consistent and now it seems almost and everyday occurence numerous times a day at times. It is awful I almost had to go to the ER a couple weeks ago in the middle of the night because it just would not let up. I can feel it coming on and I will feel in in my stomach and mid sternum at the same time and then it hits. It is all the way from my navel up my midline to mid sternum and the pain resonates through to my back too. It is the most awful pain and once it starts it stays the same intensity until it lets up. And as soon as it lets up I am fine like nothing happened no residual effect of pain. You cannot hold your breath, breathe differently, change position anything to help believe me I have tried. I also am having trouble breathing at times that are related to Chiari the doctor has told me but also I have found recently that it relates to the time after I eat a friend mentioned a hiatal hernia any experiences with those?
