Hi ,

Did Dr. G say to use 35 mg for 10 days? That is what I did for my

last cycle except that I used it for 12 days. I used 35 mg for 10

days and 40 mg for 2 days in the middle for a total of 12 days. I

only use the v. progesterone at bedtime, none in the morning. Last

cycle I did not ovulate.

What concerns me about my last cycle is that I had less bleeding than

normal. Not a huge difference, but defiantly less (I skipped an

entire day of light bleeding). Since I did not ovulate, I am

concerned that maybe using progesterone just once a day does not work

as well as having 24 hour coverage based on my lighter bleeding. Next

month if I do not ovulate, I am going to use v. progesterone twice a

day instead of once a day. I have not decided what my dose will be.

My thoughts right now are to try 30 mg at night and 20 mg in the

daytime. I will probably try that and see if I can tolerate that

dose. I used to always split my progesterone up into two doses; last

month I wanted to try just a bedtime dose to see if I felt better. I

cannot say that I felt better, so maybe twice a day dosing is better

for me.
