Guest guest
I would like to recommend a book that I am currently reading. I've always enjoyed Winner's approach to social skills education. This book is especially useful because she teams up with Pamela Crooke, a speech-language pathologist, to address the pragmatics issues that are such a core part of social communication. While her focus here is social communication in the workplace, much of the content can be generalized to just about any setting where a keen understanding of interpersonal dynamics is required. Social Thinking At Work: Why Should I Care? http://www.amazon.com/Social-Thinking-At-Work-Should/dp/0884272036/ref=sr_1_1?ie\ =UTF8 & qid=1321663676 & sr=8-1 IMO, this book is a real superstar of the genre. Check it out. Enjoy, ~CJ
