Guest guest
Hi Some of you may remember this case from a couple of months ago and a few people asked me to keep you updated. Very briefly, this lady was quite ill 2 years ago following a visit to NZ - this resulted in overproduction of mucous via her mouth and loss of voice. GP had prescribed various medications - GIT antiinflammatories, antidepressants - all no use - neither was speech therapy. On 22 Feb her prescription was: Infusion of Rubus idaeus Mix containing Thuja 1:3 60% 5 ml Hydrastis 1:4 60% 3 ml arch. 1:3 45% 20 ml Inula helenium 1:3 25% 20 ml Comm. molmol 1:3 90% 15 ml Tabebuia imp. 1:4 45% 5 ml Calendula 1:3 90% 20 ml Silybum mar. 1:1 45% 10 ml sig 5 ml tid ca ac The results were good - after about a week the mucous reduced considerably - with only a little in the morning - and her voice remained strong. However, this state lasted only for about 4 weeks and she is now suffering from more mucous again though her voice is still fine. I have added Thymus to the infusion The mix is more or less the same but Thuja up to 15 ml, Calendula down to 15 ml up to 25 ml Inula up to 25 ml, no Commiphora,, Hydrastis or Tabebuia, and Schisandra 1:5 25% at 20 ml. I haven't heard any more and she is not due to update me for another week or so, but in the meantime would be interested to hear any thoughts from you.
