Andersen-Murray Law Positive and Negative OT

Hi gang,

 

i wasnt going to spoil the gathering as i care too much about all of you to do

that. so i kept everything to myself until after the meeting, just told carol

about eveything just a few minutes or so ago/ 

 

First the POSTIVE,  donnie is now in Dallas or actually Mesquite Texas, We got

his birth certivcate on wednesday i called them immediately, and made the plans

for donnie to go Friday, then i called donnie and told him haha i didnt even

tell him first. We went and got his bus ticket to mesquite texas, he had to

change in dallas but that was it.  not sa bad as i thought.  he left 640 friday

nite and arrived at his extended stay hotel at 430 saturday afternoon.  he was

told to get up and catch the stevens transport at 600am sun morning and he went

there and apparently noone was there except dispatch so he took the bus

trasnport back to the hotel and caught the transport back to stevens training

center at 10 and was there until 6pm studying and preparing for the practice

test. 

 

now for the negative, friday before donnie left i was cleaning the shoppe out

esp the garage to restock the store that we have sold out alot of and didnt

realize i dropped a branch from one of the christmas trees we have, well i wear

croc flipflops as they are not as hard on my heels as any other shoe i have

tried, i wear croc clogs in the few cold months we have and the flip flops in

the rest of teh year. well it was about 1.5 inches long and went thru my shoe

where the arch is, and 1/2'' into my foot, so after taking donnie to the bus

station i went to teh ER by myself (a first time in 8 years) and had ot get a

tetanus shot and since the doc discovered that the branch had cat pee on it i

had to be on cipro so i was thrilled. lol

ok so saturday i had the yard sale on my one bad leg right let, hobbled the guy

who was supposed to show up and help me didnt even show up so i did it all by

myself. so i wasnt happy and then one of my customers came in at 12 stayed till

1230 and said he was going to get his wife and i siad i would wait till 2-230

and to call me if he wasnt going to make it. well by 2pm i was exhausted my foot

was aching and he didnt call so i said 'what the hail' and left. came home took

some extra pain meds as by now my foot was aching off. i rested and slept good,

got up and i was hyper so i decided to round up some wood that someone was

supposed to pick up next week, for trash and put it by the fence so it would be

easier with the dogs when it was time to load the wood.  well ihad this closet

storage in my laudnry room for my laundry soap, rinse, shout catchers, dryer

sheets etc. when they are on clearance or good sales i buy in quantities so i

dont have to worry

about it, i have running out of laundry stuff esp with my urostomy if it somes

off i have to do everything on the bed from blankets to mattresss coveres. well

this cabinet was coming apart the main part was ok, teh door had come off so i

picked up the door, not thinking it was 10pm and humid as 'hail' and sure enough

i dropped the door across my big toe. from the knuckle to the 1/2 into the nail

the door as about 1'' thick. the pain shot up my leg all the way to my spine i

screamed bloody murder. my one nosy neighbor looked out the window but didnt

bother to come out. so i gathered ome composure and hobbled to the bathoroom.

and washed it off in the tub, rinsing the blood and more blood and more blood,

remember i was on coumadin up until 10 days ago. well i went to ER at 1030 pm to

into see the dr at 1200 midnight with my toe still bleeding intensel andthen had

an xray done on it. it is fractured in 3 places, it broke my knuckle it broke my

toe at my

nail bed and then 1/2 way thru the middle of my toe nail. the nail is total

ripped at nail bed and 1/2 into nail. i woke up this morning and went to walk

out and see the weather came back in maybe a 80 ft walk and my foot ws covered

in blood bled thru the 5 pieces of gazue bandagies and soaked the bootie they

gave me to wear to protect my toe.

and today i woke up and it ws still bleeding profusely this morning and i called

the ER asking what i should do and they said i should contact my md and let

him/her refer me if i need be back to ER, i got mad and siad he hasnt seen me

you all saw me last nite why cant you tell me what i should do and the only

answer i got was to wait till tomorrow *monday* and call my pcp and see what he

says.and anytime i get stressed out i get severe laryngitis so i called him this

morning. and he was out sick, so when he got there, and his nurse called me told

me to put alot of pressure on it ofr 15 minutes, and then to splint it for at

least a week and i am basically grounded for3 days, ugh me guonded i who cant

sit still watching tv has to stay off my foot ugh drives me crazy. ughhhhhh. 

well my toe is doing better, it is just oozing now not bleeding. and it is

easing up slowly.   thank good ness. 

donnie is so worrying about me that he missed passinghis practice test and thank

goodness it was a practice tet me missed by one too many so he is ging to study

harder tnite, tomorrow is physical day. and if he passes that he will get $70

towards food for the next weei.

so everyone keep your fingers crossed for him this is his dream, everything will

look good if he can pass the test, meaining i stay out of trouble he will pass

and go on and finish school.they also said instead of taking a week off he could

continue training for school and then get paid to dirve home with a load and

then get 3-4 days off and is already on pay roll so  we  wont to have to wait

teh extra week. well keeep our fingers crossed that we get to skp the week

waiting period we are so anxious, nervous excited, pray for us.
