Guest guest
someone on another fourm is worried about their hearing loss and many commented they have ringing and other types of issues with their ears and i have had a lot of issues releated to my ears including hearing, balance and noises and 'spaciness' so i thought i would post this here also as it IS related to the stress sysetm that tells the adrenals to work harder : Vasopressin is the hypothalamus stress hormone that is documented to be high in many HYPOT people. Vasopressin is also the head of the HPA axis and tells the Adrenals to make cortisol and tells the pit to make ACTH (Which also tells the adrenals to make cortisol . As such, Vasopressin is an integral part of flogging our Adrenals! and " Adrenal Fatigue " . But Vasopressin direclty affects our senses including our Hearing and our Balance! via its work on our Inner-Ears , both as a hormone going thru our blood stream,, but also Vasopressin as a hypothalamus neuropeptide and neurotransmitter is also released into our brain and CSF_ Cerebral spinal Fluid! AND the CSF fluid fills our " Ventricular System " which cushions the brain and flows around and thru parts of it and our spinal cord. Those ventricles go right next to our Inner_EARs! NOTE: 2 ducts in each of our ear's INNER_ears connect to our VEntricular System and our CSF fluid!, which has a slightly higher pressure than our Inner-EAR fluid = (which is chambers of Sodium/Potassium BTW !) =having even slightly high vasopressin in our CSF often means there is more than Normal fluid levels and more than Normal PRESSURE! which pushes more of the contents in our CSF get pushed in to our inner ears! Vasopressin is documetned to cause Tinnitus and Menierre's and Dizzyiness and Dandy's and Postural HYpotension and etc. (it is also documneted to cause Glaucoma and Cataracts and tells our LIver to release its storage form of Glucose and do stuff with bile/fat metabolism in the intesintes) x1000 Vasopressin also affects our electrolytes and minerals via its effect on our Kidnyes and electrolytes etc. Vasopressin (AKA ADH!) is listed on the HypOnatremia (LOW SODIUM) Page of the Merck Manual!! It notes we release ADH (Vasoprsesin) for a number of reasons, including " Emotioanl Stress " (see Limbic System of the Hypothalamus on DR AMen's website -Carol PS Hypothyroidism and ears/hearing are " on " some of the same gene/s GOOGLE: Pendred's for the genetic hypot/born deaf , disease. tho ofcourse most hypots hearing and balance problems are not born with but Acquired " .
