Guest guest
Maddy had the urodynamic study done this morning. The urologist said the results were inconclusive because Maddy wasnt able to stay calm and not cry. Maddy was very upset and crying through most of the test. The doctor said based on her other symptoms it is possible that she has something going on with her nervous system. She said that during the VCU she wasnt able to completely empty her bladder then as well. She also said if she has a problem with constipation, which she has had her whole life and has been taking miralax for almost 3 years, that constipation could be making her not completely empty her bladder. Her bladder issue only started around 4 months ago. She wasnt fully potty trained until she was 5. The doctor also said if she has a tethered cord then she would have had uti's by now,due to her bladder not fully emptying. I know in my heart she has a tethered cord. I left a message with the nsg office to let them know. I figured inconclusive was better then normal results. I am praying the nsg will go ahead and decide to look into it,if not I will be taking her elsewhere. Please keep Maddy in your prayers.
