My doctor put me on 5mg of Prednisone daily a month ago. We had pretty much run

out of other options, and I was miserable. I've been watching my levels very

closely, and so far, the Prednisone hasn't had any effect. Increased glucose

levels is a POTENTIAL side effect. Guess I've been lucky so far.

Hi, everyone. I just talked to a dear friend. She was just diagnosed

as type 2, dm. Her dr. is planning to put her on Predistone. It seems

to me that I have heard this mentioned on this list, as having some

negative side effects.

Teri, I find that 5mg of cortisone is nearl a minimal dose. I found this
