one leg dragging, symptom?

Does anyone have any experience with one leg dragging? I have a friend with high TPO ab's (350) and she says she is slowly losing the function of one of her legs. It's seems to be dragging and losing pressure, so she's not able to drive. Does this sound like a symptom of Hashi's?thank you.
