Something that goes deeper than language, or our normal cognitive way of understanding. I guess, as Bill said, no matter what IS there, acceptance is the important thing anyway. But defining or even observing something that is both pervasive and elusive is a difficult thing!KateWell, I'm glad I asked this question because I sure learned a lot from it. Thanks to everyone for answering.I see where you are coming from Kate. I feel the same way which is maybe why I've been having a hard time with how to deal with emotions. It is like there is a third component. Something much more intense then thoughts and physical sensations, something much deeper than any of those and that just happens to be the part I have a hard time with. I end up taking more of a CBT approach with that and since I've been doing that for 10ish years I feel it's safe to say it's not working.
