Hi. I do not have diabetes but I am a dietitian. And like you, a bird

nut. I have one blue and gold macaw and about a zillion finches and

canaries.

Hello everyone. I have just recently signed up with your group. I am a type 1 diabetic. Have had diabetes for nearly 40 years. I have 2 children. I am a quilter. I love birds. We have a cockatiel, moluccan cockatoo and a blue and gold macaw. I am looking forward to being a part of your group.

Hello everyone.

First of all, sorry for my english... i am not english, i am spanish and i live in Barcelona.

I do not have diabetes. I am a journalist and i work in a health web where we are developing subjects for diabetic patients in Spain.

I decided to be a member of this list because i am very interested in all your opinions and experience if you are a diabetic, a dietitian or someone interested in diabetes disease.

Well, i hope learn more of you (?) and i amb looking forward to being a part of your group too.

Hello Raquel, I have had Diabetes all my life, (I was diagnosed at the age

of nine months) I have been through almost everything a Diabetic can go

through (from hypoglycemia to coma(twice)). If you have any questions please

Hi Diane,

Welcome to the group. 40 years, wow. What range do you keep your BG in? How many times a day do you inject or are you on a pump? Any complications? I've only been diagnosed 1 1/2 years and already have kidney problems.

Welch? She started as a beauty winner in San Diego California where I

live. I visited Spain inclucing Barcelona years ago. I particularly

remember their version of fried eggs, Sam
