Someone asked me today which was worse among the dementias. AD, LBD, PPD?

As a care giver I would believe they are generally about the same.

No, they are not about the same. The absolute worst type of dementia for

caregivers is either a non-dominant presentation of frontal lobe syndrome of

fronto-temporal dementia.

The above statement was written by our very dear helper, Geri Hall, on an

Alzheimer's List.

She answered the question right straight, Don't you agree? I had no idea. I

am glad the question was asked. Was it by you Dixie? I have forgotten. Well,

we have our answer. But, I am not too happy to hear it.

My husband has Frontal Lobe Dementia. I don't know just how his doctor

called it, but he tested the frontal lobe again this week. I am trying to deal

with more than I realized.

Hang in there Friday is coming. The Doctor said enjoy NOW. Enjoy each day. I

know why now.

Caregiver for my True Texas Gentleman husband of 35 years. He has LBD with

Parkinsonism, and Frontal Lobe Disease with Apathy, and possibly AD.

Love is Long-suffering---- love never fails 1 Cor. 13; 4-7 (Paraphrased for

caregivers)
