Guest guest
Thanks for the kind words. It's all really happened by itself. There was apparently a huge need for a DLB charity and once we got the website on line in October everything just took off. By Christmas we had £30,000 which we decided should go directly into research. Our guideline budget for now is 45% to research, 45% for awareness raising and 10% operating costs. I'll be sending out a special birthday edition newsletter in the next day or so. The website has recently been redesigned by an old age psychiatrist who really knows what he's doing (I put the original site together with a Do-it-yourself programme) and looks terrific. We will be publishing a wikimedia reference book on DLB on it in the near future. As I have stated in the past, we will NOT put up a forum or chatroom on the LBS site. This group is so good and well established and we have no intention to create any potential diversion from it. We've had so much support and enthusiasm from the US. Many many thanks. When we started out the L of the Fritz stood just for Lewy but in the last year it's become apparent that it also stands for loyalty and love which is what caring for someone with dementia is all about. Guest guest
The website is awesome! And you even have the " L " up there where the site address / URL is -- I love little details like that! http://www.lewybody.org/
