Guest guest
What methods are you going to use to decide when to start supplementing with the cyclogest? Just curious because to reiterate, I am stopping P supplements myself, to detox from excess being prescribed and am not looking forward to adding back the P. I had my ownholistic practice, and have studied nutrition for years. For a goodpart of peri I was able to keep things under control with supplements, herbs, homeopathic remedies. It was difficult, because somethingwould work for awhile, then suddenly my body would change and itwouldn't work anymore and then I was frantic trying to find somethingelse that would work.I finally couldn't seem to find anything that would alleviate thesesymptoms which were causing problems with my energy, my thinking, myemotions, and the irritability and snappishness with DH and DS was notgood, so I finally decided that I had to fix this regardless of whatit took.Getting totally off any P and using E has made the biggest differencefor me. Once my body uses up all that excess P, then I will add inthe Cyclogest, although I'm not looking forward to it after readingall the negative comments about how it affects moods.>> That iodine increases P levels is very interesting to me. Guest guest
Christa, While I like the idea of testing hormones frequently, since I pay out of pocket it isn't feasible for me. So I figure if I've not had a period in 3 months, then I will do the Cyclogest for about 10 days, but only about 35 mg. as Kathy does. Dr. Gillespie suggests doing it this way. > > > > > What methods are you going to use to decide when to start supplementing with the cyclogest?
