Guest guest
I went for my well-woman annual gynecological exam recently. Blood work showed an estradiol level of 146 pg. My nurse practitioner wants me to reduce estradiol because I have been taking it for five years, and I am now 56. I understand that the risks can go up the longer that I take it, but I feel fairly good on this amount (2 patches 0.1 mg. & 0.0375 mg.)and don't feel like upsetting anything. I have my thyroid to deal with as is, and I am contantly battling brain fog. I recently asked the gynecologist what estradiol number is good . She said around 150 pg. Given this info, I should be pretty good, right? The nurse practitioner has had a hysterectomy and breast cancer. Any thoughts from anyone about lowering dose?
