Heparin/While I was in the hospital for surgery (Chiari and Basilar invagination

I was in ICU for about 2/3 days. Not sure. The whole time I was in ICU, I was

given Heparin through IV. Then after I went to a regular room/Neurosurgery Care

Unit, I was given shots of Heparin twice a day.

Its been almost 4 weeks now since I've been out of the hospital.

So here is my issue/question..

I've scratched two lil pimples on my thighs.. Scratched the first one, then the

second one a few days later.. They both would not stop bleeding. Usually pimples

have a lil red spot or blood ooze a bit.. That being said, anyone know how long

it takes for Heparin to be out of the system?

I need to know in case something happens/I get hurt.. Which I hope not..
