Worked out 4 minutes ab work, and 14 generally. I was not really able to do

it completely and strongly all the way through, so I will keep to 14 this

next week. There is no shame in working to my own ability. The shame would

be if I would not admit to myself what that limit is.

This week with the daughter has gone better. I'm getting her to work around

the house, and I've got a line for some part-time work for her to do. Both

of those things will help her to get grounded here, and help her feel " at

home " . We're getting past the polite stage and that is always good....my

other daughter is coming next week (Sunday), to come to see the baby...and

I'm almost wanting to tell her to stay home... (even tho' it's been 2 years

since I've seen her) because my yard looks a fright. Our mower is broken

and my husband can't seem to get it fixed nor is there money to get it fixed

outside or to buy a new one. The yard is getting about hip high in the

grassy areas and I haven't cleaned up yet from the winter. (Trash and

branches and the like)...Funny, how such thinks keep you from enjoying the

idea of someone coming. I will make a special effort to put more time in the

yard...at least picking up trash...and organizing things neatly. If I'm

lucky, the heat will kill the grass.

I promise to myself that I'm not going to worry about how the yard looks,

because it is only a small part of this place...and the most important thing

is to give out a welcoming feel so she'll want to come again.
