Need some tips

I need some input. I was recently accepted to nursing school and classes start November 7th. I went to orientation yesterday and when the director was telling us about buying our scrubs, she suggested we not get them tight because everyone always gains weight in nursing school. Well I refuse to be a statistic. I need some ideas for quick, healthy meals. I will work from 8:00AM to 2:30PM and then go to school from 3:00PM to 9:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. In theory, I'll have a half hour dinner break. What can I take with me to avoid vending machines? I refuse to gain another ounce! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks!
