peri-meno thyroid mg and quest/labcore

hi

i just retested my thyroid labs

but my DR used labcore and not my usual quest labs

1)

can you compare results from Labcore to Quest 1:1 ?

or is their testing protocols and etc different enough that we know one of them

always tests a little higher?

if so do you have a 'ballpark range re: the average difference between the 2?

2)

can going thru peri=> menopause Transition affect our thyroid levels enough to

show up in our Free T3 and Free T4 tests? (ie when taking the same dosage of

Thryoid RX all along)?

why do they say that many women have to Lower our thryoid Rx dosages (for many)

around the time of menopause? cuz the Free T tests will suddenly test as Higher

at some point in the 'transition'?

3) can adrenals prevent that sudden change in thryodi levels from happenign?

(should they ? :/
