Wasn’t sure if you’d known about Mucomyst – I seem to be finding about these things far too late, perhaps a reflection on where I live.... I have always had copious production - even when young, & yearly infxs - & now sp is very dark green in a day. An effective “sputum eviction notice” will hopefully keep me out of hospital. Ht saline got a good result initially, but then developed persistent sore throat/bronchi, which has gone away since backing off the ht saline (10mls/day). While in hosp during April, was told prolonged, frequent & high use of ht saline can dry out the lungs & introduce infx that way. Interchanging seems to be working well - & too bad for the furniture, I can’t cope with hospital at such a rate this past 12 mths has been!
