Guest guest
I always heard the 100 days too and when the Hospital MD said, " no skilled nursing needed, " I got 20 days. So be careful. Hugs, Donna R Caregave for Mom (after I brought her from WI to MI) for 3 years and 4th year in a nh. She was almost 89 when she died in '02. No dx other than mine. Re: Re: ALF vs NH Just one little caveat to that, though, is that if they don't improve with the OT, PT, ST or don't have IV therapy, Medicare will stop in 20 days. So, if you don't have LTC insurance or eligible for Medicaid, those next 80 days are on you. Been there, done that, and it wasn't fun. June --- rriddle_travel wrote: > I would go for the NH.
