Guest guest
Got mine today. No advance alert so it was a total surprise. First thing you notice is the bands. They're weighted with one-pound weights which are removable. The length of the bands is also more easily adjustable (thanks to a little plastic ball attached to each) than the original bands. This looks very very exciting!
Guest guest
Yup! I did Mission 1 and the 8 minute (which is truly 8 minutes). I don't know why they didn't send out ship confirmations I guess with the sheer number this time around. I know they were shipping out 3500 or so each day. Mine actually came Saturday but they mailman didn't leave the tag. I thought about checking the mail closet but didn't want to come out disappointed if it wasn't there. The length of the bands is also more easily adjustable (thanks to a little plastic ball attached to each) than the original bands. This looks very very exciting! Just finished watching the " Getting Started " video. I always thought the Basic Boot Camp in the earlier series was a little too challenging (well, at least in the beginning ... I worked into it). This " Getting Started " video doesn't seem to be as intense and is much more instructive here than he was in the basic Boot Camp vid. One nice touch: A few of the vids (including this one) come with 8 minute bonus workouts where (and sometimes Shellie) work with you basically one-on-one. On the bonus to the " Getting Started " vid, it's just going through the moves, showing you points of technique. That was always one of my gripes with the earlier Boot Camp -- he really didn't seem to do enough of going through the technique. You had to pick it up from watching the video and sometimes it was hard trying to figure out the best technique with everyone already doing it. But he does that here and that's a big plus as far as I'm concerned. Like I said in my earlier post ... this looks very exciting ... and very promising. And if you're wondering why I was just watching and not doing, it's because I just got home from my late shift at work. (Yeah, excuses, I know... But I will be doing this....definitely...
