Guest guest
Die off. Give it a week or so and he should be back to normal. If it gets really bad you can give him some motrin or activated charcoal (make sure to give this at least 2 hours away from anything before or after so you need a 4 hour window). Guest guest
Hi Maureen, Can I ask how old your son is and what the reason was for starting VALTREX ? Did you test his titers or did some other test before starting ? My son (12)still has a lot of characteristics of a viral kid although my DAN doesn't agree, had a bad reaction after MMR-vaccination regarding appetite, language, attention, social contacts, motor skills. He is a lot better know being on the biomedical pathway but has still some serious issues regarding high school next year. I want these addressed as best as possible before the next school year starts other- wise it will be very difficult for me and him ! Seems like by giving Valtrex, the viruses can mutate the genes of a child and I am very very scared that I would make my kid worse, that the only thing that keeps me off the Valtrex. My DAN says he is recovered but for me he is still on the way towards recovery but not (yet) cured. Could a DAN be wrong regarding these viral issues, don't know ??? Thanks a lot for your advice and time ! Ann > > My son has been on valtrex for 2 months now we have seen great success > with valtrex.
