Hi Beatriz, yes I have treated one lady with this a few years ago, and I

remember giving her mainly alteratives such as burdock and cleavers, in tea

form, which she then continued to take herself long term. marilena.

Subject: ICHTHYOSIS

Dear colleague

I've been asked to write an article on ICHTHYOSIS and would appreciate your

input.

It's not a common condition and I don't have much experience with it. Herbs can

help alleviate the symptoms though not cure it if genetic.

Has anyone treated this? If so please share your experience or any info related

to treating this chronic condition.

Many thanks,

Beatriz

Thanks, Marilena.

Did you give her any creams or supplements?

Has anyone else treated a patient with this?

Hi Beatriz, I remember that she liked a bath with oats, just oats in a muslin

cloth, with a drop of lavender essential oil added, left to soak in some warm

water for 20 minutes, then taken into the bath and used as a skin brush/sponge.

It is very nourishing and calming, and softens the skin.

Best wishes,

Marilena.
