memory issues

Hi,

I hope everyone is doing well.

I have been having increasing memory, disconnection issues lately and want to

ask if any of you have similar, or should by concerns about early alzheimer's

(I'm 47) be looked into.

I recently took a short vacation and flew into an airport and then had a

continued flight to my destination.

On the return flight home, I got to the first airport and I couldn't remember,

at all, being there the week before. Only when my daughter described a few

things that had happened there the week before (we got pretzels, and we saw a

couple who had missed their flight) did I start to remember anything at all

about the airport and the two hours we had spendt there the week before.

Also, I am very disconnected at times. Someone in my family will be talking to

me and telling me things and I can't focus on what they are saying or remember

anything at all about it later. Also, this happens when I am driving

occasinally. I feel like I am outside my body and it's hard to pay attention.

THis is very scary.

I also have a very hard time remembering things that have happened in the recent

past and my " head " substitutes words like " Path " for " past " and I have a hard

time remembering what things are called. The simplest things, for example a pot

holder, I have to explain what it is used for and someone will tell me the word

for it.

Should I be worried about these things or do you chiarians have similar issues.

Also, my eyesight has rapidly been decling and I will be going to see the eye

doctor soon to see what is up with that.
