Guest guest
Becky, Thanks for the reply and information. It is very interesting. Are you taking Lugols or iodoral? I am familar with the work of Brownstien and Abrahms. I realize it is very controversial but I have heard of cases like yours where people do much better on what is considered high does of iodine/iodide. Most people on the other boards will tell you it is very risky to take iodine when you have hashi including most all MD's and some alturnative Doc's like Dr. Kharrazian. Do you have any recommended sources for learning more about what you discussed? This is all interesting to me but I don't want to take away from my initial inquiry. What are peoples experinece with taking Standard Process Thyrotrophen PMG? Thanks > > > > > > > > In the Book " Integrative Endocrinology " by Beans, it talks about improving thryroid function and lowering antibodies by taking a thyroid gladular by Standard Process called Thyrotrophan PMG (thryroxine has been removed). I won't go in to the details it as it is lengthly. I reference the book for those who have interest in learning more. It is on Amazon and you may be able to get it form your Library as it has been out for about a year. > > > > > > > > I am asking if anyone has direct experience using this product, Thyrotrophan PMG?. Guest guest
I used it for a while. I didn't notice any effect from it, but my situation may be different from yours. I had untreated Hashi's and poor conversion, and didn't know it at the time I was taking Thyrotrophin PMG. So far, the only thing that has helped is T3. But I'm going to try the iodine protocol. Go to the iodine forum, and you'll get loads of info on that. > > In the Book " Integrative Endocrinology " by Beans, it talks about improving thryroid function and lowering antibodies by taking a thyroid gladular by Standard Process called Thyrotrophan PMG (thryroxine has been removed).
