Guest guest
I have PCAnywhere and love it. I just simply choose the directory in my computer where my files are to transfer and then choose the directory in the host computer (to where you are sending the files). It is very easy and user friendly. I have version 9. You can get it for about $189 at Office Max and places like that but I use a Symantec dealer, the makers of PCAnywhere in town. His e-mail address is DSMElect@... if interested. The name is Mark DiNardo. He also has a website at DSMElectronics.com if interested. He sells it for about $20 new. Guest guest
Yes pcAnywhere is very capable of doing this. In effect when the remote (your computer) dials the host (their computer) then it is like being on a network with that computer. Depending on the access granted, you could run programs on the host computer, have access to the harddrive, etc. They could even have a host program running that would simply show up to you as a dos menu with options for transferring files, etc. BTW if you are talking internet email as an option then you better use good encryption. NOTHING is private on the internet to some individuals. Quixote pcAnywhere > Recently, I asked about information regarding sending medical records to my > client via e-mail and zipping and such.
