Guest guest
Hmmm One patient was recommended " natural remedies " and couldn't afford them, and obviously wanted to know how she could get help, was just directed to the menopause clinic and a different form of progesterone. Depressing - especially in the context of Lapraz insights into the central importance of a balanced hormonal environment. Was quite impressed with Marilyn Glenville, she didn't stray out of what she knew about and was very positive, in fact the menopause clinic person started to sound a little threatened, once they didn't have the floor all to themselves. I thought it was sad but interesting that in the first part of the discussion the only option they considered at all was HRT, and that's the only option we're prepared to offer, and it's wonderful. Their attitude was - women don't have time to have these symptoms, so it's better for them to take HRT. End of. Bit like the " you can't expect peple to eat anything other than white sliced bread " attitude 10 years ago. And then they brought on the nutritionist and sanity reigned for a while ;-) But I bet there'll be letters...
