I prefer King of the Hill, too, and I know those people! LOL I never

thought of closed captioning, though; maybe I'll finally figure out what

Are you kidding - it's his entire philosophy! He thinks the whole world

should be run according to Homer J. Simpson! (I still think King of the Hill

is a better series, but as to the philosophy - not to mention the

unintelligible accents, thank the gods for closed captions - Homer's

philosophy seems a good deal better.)

Yes - that's why he *knows* the world is run on the " whatever " principle.

I must say, there is something rather endearing about Homer Simpson.

As for King of the Hill - I don't get to see it often, but one of my all

time favorite lines is from that show, compliments of Hank:

" I'm tryin' to stop an outbreak here, and you're drivin' the monkey to

the airport! "

I've tried to work that into a conversation now and then, and nobody

ever gets it.

My husband's says

GOD FORGIVE AMERICA

I read about the solider who killed himself at Ground Zero when he heard bush

was 'elected.' Hate to tell the Mr. Rove, but that was Jesus. There's a lot of

Jesus's lately. Keep trying to come back, but -- just not having a nice day.

Soldiers sign an oath to protect aned defend the Constitution. That's what they

are asked to give their life for. The least we can do is protect the

Constitution at home.
