Guest guest
Tyra - Thank you so much for sharing your story. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. It's not easy - just thinking about it paralyzes me. I will definitely get my mom hooked on fresh carrot juice. Carrots and other veggies are amazing. I'm constantly surprised at what they do for us. Thanks for the advise - I will be emailing you. I am constantly reminded of the sheer fullness of the human spirit in most of us from the outpouring of support from this and other boards. You guys and gals are phenomenal and someone said that Tae Bo brings out the best in people. I agree - the people who Tae Bo are among the most wonderful, caring loving people I have ever met. *HUGS* Chris " Mother Earth (Tyra) " <motherspirit@bel To lsouth.net> <tae-bo_on > Sent by: cc tae-bo_on@yahoogr oups.com Subject Chris 06/01/2005 06:32 AM Please respond to tae-bo_on@yahoogr oups.com Like everyone else, I will pray for your mother and family. Cancer is truly a disease that affects everyone in the family. In going through my mother's cancer battle I learned about the beauty of fresh carrot juice. When my mother was very close to death we bought her a juicer and I told her to drink LOTS of fresh carrot juice everyday. (anything but fresh will not do because the fresh is live and has life giving properties.) When we started the carrot juice, my mother was not eating or driving. She was at a place where she pretty much laid around all day and could not do any basic household duties. When I returned 3 weeks later she had resumed a normal life. I will say that when we started the carrot juice, my mother's cancer had progressed pretty far so what the carrot juice was buy us another 4 months with my mother and allowed her to not suffer long and die with dignity. That experience showed me how miraculous food and herbs can be! If you mother is open to drinking fresh carrot juice, tell her to drink it all day everyday. With natural treatments it takes a lot to deal with a serious illness. If she feels like she is going overboard with it then she is doing what it takes. Someone told me about fresh carrot juice and its effects on cancer and how it worked for them. Many people use it for that reason and are able to beat cancer (with other treatments and lifestyle modifications, too). I have also heard good things about esiac tea (i think i spelled that correctly...it may be essiac). I think the person who came up with this tea used it for herself or a family member who had cancer and it helped them beat it. I really could go on forever but I will stop here. If you want to hear some know of some other natural treatments that can be used with western medical treatments just e-mail me privately at motherspirit@.... Despite what happened to my mother, my position is that cancer can be beaten with lots of work on the mind, body and spirit levels. Much love to you and your family Tyra As Deb has said: " Fitness is a journey and it begins with the first step. Guest guest
I am happy to help. One thing that I gained from my mother's experience is that cancer can be an opportunity for people to gain a lot of hope and to experience miracles. I used to hate when people gave me awful cancer stories when my mother was sick and so I decided to always try to be a ray of sunshine to those who are going through the cancer experience. As far as how you feel about losing your mother, I can really relate. I remember feeling the exact same way. I say this to say that you are very normal. Tae Bo does bring out the best in people which is what makes tae bo stand out from the rest. It is funny but sometimes when I do my workouts, I imagine that my mother is doing them with me which makes me kick and punch that much harder to make sure that I live a full and healthy life. I continue to pray for you, your mother and your family. Much Love Tyra Re: Chris Tyra -Thank you so much for sharing your story. I'm sorry to hear about the lossof your mother.
