Guest guest
Hi Nina, The episode with the scissors reminded me of an experience I had with my husband. It was a bad accident waiting to happen, but I caught it ontime. BE VERY WARY of LBD, they horde things and hide them in places that you will never know unless you come upon it unexpectedly. One day while vacuuming I lifted the skirt on our bed and found a noose and a knife that is used to clean fish. It had very jagged edges. These were things we used for camping years ago stored in the garage. The rope had a noose to swing over limbs of trees to make a clothes line to hang things on to dry. After that every weapon that could be used in the house was removed immediately. They store them away to be used, in their delusional minds everyone is out to get them! That is why the scissors have been missing. She had them hidden. They will never remember where they put things, but this they will remember................Jan P.S. Giving my husband extra doses of Seroquel in the morning when he is combative is a life saver. Nina Jordan wrote: Hey , Today has been a crazy day ....I really need some insight. Earlier today, my mother held a scissors and starting hitting our housekeeper when she was given her medication. I have no idea where she got the scissors , they're actually a pair we bought ages ago and were LOST!!!! Anyway today was reason enough for us to introduce seroquel during the day as well, since my moms doctor suggested for us to give it to her a " couple of times " a day. I cannot stress enough how shocking this is, my mother never laid a finger on any of me or my four siblings during our childhood. This is the first time my mom actually uses violence , usually shell get really mad and agressive and say hutrful things. I need advice here, are we doingt he right thiung giving her seroquel during the day , what can we do to control such behaviour? Its heart breaking, once i heard about what happened i ran home like a mad person and i found my mom holding the scissors , sitting on a chair in the kitchen looking down , as if she was totally shocked at what had happned. luckily a few minnutes after , my mothers in-house hair dresser came over to do my moms hair, she was really happy to see her and she became in a better mood after. I dont know what to do , i feel like everything is out of control! please give me any advice you think will help me Thanks, Nina (Mother 60 - diagnosed with LBD last year) --------------------------------- Pinpoint customers who are looking for what you sell.
