So I took Maddy to the ER today as her pediatrican told us to since her

abdominal pain has continued. She still has no fever and WBC count was

normal.Since last night she developed a lump on the right side of her abdomen

and it looked bruised. They didan xray and said she is constipated. She has

been pooping everyday and it normal looking and I asked the Er doc well does

constipation cause pain like that and cause a lump with a bruise to appear and

he ignored the question so we left.I think poop shouldnt poke her. We also went

to the neurosurgeon and saw Dr. Magram as Dr. Woodward was not in today. He

didnt say much about the lump. However after the xray the bruise went away. He

said she might be constipated and I told him she isnt and told him she has been

pooping everyday and says something is poking her and says it feels better when

she takes a deep breathe in. He ordered some labs and told us to keep her off

the diamox as long as we can. He didnt

order a shunt series or anything as her regular doc will get mad. So tomorrow

we have to get a crp and sed rate and they can draw those off the port. I am at

a loss.Im gonna give her a suppository tonight and see if I can get all the poop

out tonight and tomorrow and see how she is. I am wondering since the pain

happens when she is sitting or bending over if tubing is poking down somewhere.

I will post an update tomorrow. Any thoughts are welcome.
