Guest guest
Hi Nathalie Just read your mail. This would be an unusual role as a volunteer (within the NHS or otherwise). I would be inclined to ask for a copy of the written role description. Is the issue risk? A similar - ish example might be CAM therapists working in a hospice or similar (most are not members of HPC but have quite an indepth contact with highly vulnerable people) - here copies of insurance documents and details of qualifications would be asked for..and these are highly variable (i.e different awarding , accrediting and professional bodies etc). You could also offer (as a volunteer) to go and talk to the women about the role of herbal medicine in health etc etc...I would be inclined to root it out a little bit...in the name of greater mutual understanding.......... -- [sPAM] Re: HELP PLEASE Sounds like you need to educate his team! Emphasise that you are FULLY qualified & insured in your field ( & a member of a professional association?) and that has to be enough, there isn't anything else you need!
