If your cord has retethered, it can definitely cause weakness in your knees.

As far as pain, generally not, with the exception of causing neuropathy in

the legs. But, it would be pretty rare to experience neuropathy in just one

knee. If the TC has weakened your knee, its possible that you have injured

it because you don't have the strength in it.

Also, if your gait is no longer normal, you could be putting strain/stress

on it in an abnormal way that could be result in pain.
