Guest guest
Awesome! That must have felt real good to see your mom remember & enjoy that song! Wonderful moment for you to share with her! :) > > : > > On that same " note " - I told my Mum about all the singing e-mails and asked her if she could remember singing " I love you a bushel & a peck " . With this she broke out into song!! She got about 3/4 of the way through and her nose started dripping so she began looking around for a kleenex. She then changed the words but continued the tune to include " my nose is dripping, can't find a nexie " . We both disolved into giggles!!! Laughed off and on about it all morning. Great day! > > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > The best gets better. See why everyone is raving about the All-new Yahoo! Guest guest
, What a treasured memory for you. That is so very awesome. My MIL is out of town till Monday June 26, and one of my plans was to see about playing some of my FIL's favorite CD's. I've read all the posts about singing and got to thinking that Dizz too loves music. He plays the harmonica, I even got him playing me some songs on it. I bought a digital recorder. It's a fun new toy. I can put it on a CD for all us kids and Mom too. I'm gonna try to get him telling some of his great stories too. They have close to a million CD's and never listen to them. What a shame. If this test goes well, maybe it will be a good thing for MIL to do when Dizz is bothering her. Something to calm him down and give her some time to chill. Of course I'll have to show her how to play the CD player. This is for everyone in the group. I don't know what I'd do without this group. The posts I read about singing and memories made me cry. All your memories are precious my friends. Thanks for sharing them with all of us. Tori FIL dx 1/06, saw signs since 2004, kidney failure 2/06, NH for rehab 3/06 till insurance kicked him out, currently at home making MIL crazy, she's now on a 4 day vacation, and we have moved in to care for Dizz. I so love doing this! He's such a sweetie. --------------------------------- Ring'em or ping'em. Make PC-to-phone calls as low as 1¢/min with Yahoo! Messenger with Voice.
