Guest guest
I have ACM/SM and was operated on 01 October 06. I was one of those strange people who didn't ever suffer with a headache before I was operated on. However since the operation it has been a completely different matter. I am due to go to the Neurosurgeon on Tuesday, and one of my main concerns is my headaches. Could anyone clarify for me, and describe exactly what a Chiari headache is like? Just recently I have been suffering again with really bad headaches. The last lot I have had have lasted for almost two weeks, without a break. I can't say they are migraines, because I don't get flashing lights etc. But they are debilitating. I feel so sick with them. They start in different places. But mostly from the lower part of the operation site. It begins by feeling like the skin is being stretched so much that it is going to rip in two. Then it radiates around the right side of my head, and up toward the back of my ear and to my temples. Is this a Chiari headache??? Any input would be helpful. Thank You, Debs (U.K)
