Guest guest
Hi All Please may I draw on your collective wisdom and experience on the following. A very dear friend of mine is about to undergo a lengthy course of radiotherapy for prostate cancer. He is seeing a homeopath by choice, and as I feel he does not want to " make everything about the cancer " , I have avoided delving deeper into details. However when I met him last., I suggetsed// he switch to white tea for its antioxidant properties, and he is doing this, and he has agreed that I can give him some Astragalus tincture to take during treatment to protect his bone marrow/immune system.. I have Chanchal's notes, but circumstances this last year have left me unable to devote the time to fully absorbing them. My questions are - has anybody researched optimum dose of astragalus? Which medicinal mushrooms would be optimal to add. Is Fagopyron indicated? Are there any other herbs I should be seriously considering that would benefit him? He is not particularly well off, and will be staying in a campervan to avoid the heavy travel burden suffered by cancer patients in this area.
